На митинг за освобождение косаток и белух в Москве приперлись наймиты колонизаторов. Реально - с плакатами "Каждая касатка - рабочих мест десятка". Органы "правопорядка" офигели от такого и прогнали.

I suppose that this story do count as on-topic for this group. And yes, this is Monty Python level of humor here.
0. Russia. 2018. Far East. ("Here be dragons", as map read in those days).
1. Local mafia catch orcas and belugas for sale into China.

2. Word gets out, change.org, bla-bla-bla, Greenpeace.
3. Export is forbidden (surprise, the paper work was badly forged).
4. Whales are kept in enclosures, not being exported and not being released. Enclosures are prison-like (really small) and they are covering in ice. Whales do not break ice with their fins, they're not SSBNs. They're mauled and suffer.
5. More petitioning and etc.
6. Pro-environment groups make a rally in Moscow (that's _really_ dangerous). Everything goes OK, but
7. Mafia hires some thugs to make a counter-rally, accusing people of being Western spies and etc. In really bad rhymes, not even rap. "One orca = 10 workplaces". I'm not kidding, that's "Evil villain"-level cosplay.
8. Police force thugs out of the confrontation. That's a thing which is practically impossible, but it happened.
9. The problem still persists.
